Join Us for the #LittleChefs Twitter Party!

Do you bake cookies for the holidays? Do you have a traditional dish that you are known for? Are you in charge of the holiday meal? Do you plan to do some extra entertaining this season? Do you invite your kids to help?
Every day is a good day to invite your Little Chefs into the kitchen with you.
But during the holidays it’s the toasty oven, the smell of baked goods filling the air, the joy of sharing a homemade dish that make the invitation to create something special for your tummy even stronger.

Let’s chat about all the ways we love to celebrate holiday moments in the kitchen!
What: A Twitter Party to celebrate special holiday moments with family in the kitchen, inspired by The Little Chefs Project, the first-ever crowd sourced e-book on cooking with little chefs! In partnership with Chef Boyardee, The Motherhood and 40 fantastic mom bloggers have written a virtual book that will truly make you feel like a kid again. From creating family time in the kitchen to bonding over everyday and holiday fun, we have tips and recipes for creating kitchen magic with your family.

When: Thursday, December 6, 2-3 p.m. ET

Where: We’ll be on Twitter – follow the #LittleChefs hashtag to track the conversation. You can see the details and RSVP via this Twtvite:

Hashtag: #LittleChefs

Prizes: Chef Boyardee will give away five total prizes, each consisting of a Chef Boyardee Pizza Kit, coupons, a Chef hat, apron and cookie cutters. Winners will be chosen randomly from among participants who respond correctly to trivia questions.

We will be there too: @MorethanMommies
Before the party, check out the Chef Boyardee e-card that I made. My kids laughed their way through this silly animation that featured their faces! You can make your own to share with your little chefs!
Creating a Chef Boyardee e-card
You can click here to get to the Facebook app that will take you through the creation of a fun animated e-card yourself – your chance to get in the kitchen with Chef Hector Boiardi himself!

Just follow the instructions to create the card and watch what unfolds in the kitchen. After you see the animation, you’ll have the option to share it via Facebook, Twitter, etc

Have fun! And we will see you tomorrow on Twitter!
You can be assured that we will be following along if you leave your twitter handle in the comments.

My daughter is only 18-months-old, so the only help she gives me in the kitchen is feeding the cat (It’s so cute, but I’m supposed to say that because I’m her mother). But I can’t WAIT for her to help more. Very cool event you’re doing!
