First off . . . let me just say that Super Bowl Sunday makes no sense to me only because Super Bowl Saturday would make for a much nicer Monday. :) I’m draggin’ butt a
little bit this morning. The kids were still in bed 45 minutes before we were due at the bus stop and I really really wanted to let them sleep. I am happy to report, though, that everyone was dressed and ready and out the door on time this morning.
It was super easy – I used my hand blender and got to work on a can of Garbanzo beans and 1/4 a cup + 2 TBS of basil and garlic tomato sauce. I also threw in the recommended 1/2 tsp of dry basil, 1/8 tsp salt (but I added a little garlic salt to taste, too) and 1 TBS of Olive Oil.
I’ll be honest with you – I thought about taking a picture but never got around to it. So, head over to Chocolate – Covered Katie and check out her pictures . . . they are pretty awesome.
There you have it. It was yummy and not too bad for me, either! :)
