Feeling Fly by the Fourth of July: Week Two Update #FlyByJuly

Feeling Fly by the Fourth of July
I can’t believe week two is under our belts! (hopefully replacing those unwanted pounds)  How’s that stick-with-it-ness going for you?

The blog holding me accountable is helping! Even if no one is following along, it does help me to “be good” knowing that I am going to have to update my progress here.

My Tip for week two:

Find something, someone, to whom you are accountable. For me it’s the blog and the fly girls joining me.  For you it could be an exercise buddy, your mom, your hubs, even your kids (although their idea of support could mean sharing a chocolate chip cookie).

How did you do this week?

I lost another pound bringing my total to 4.3–on track with my goal.

I am starting my second week of Insanity today and that has definitely helped with the water consumption, considering I can go through twenty ounces in one 40 minute workout.

A helpful side effect of working out so hard is that my appetite is slightly curbed. And the extra calorie burn allowed me to enjoy a cupcake and the taco bar that we had for my dad’s birthday this weekend without totally wrecking things.

If you are thinking about joining us, what are you waiting for?? It isn’t too late to start–it’s NEVER too late. You can read about the challenge and then link up with us, so that I can follow you and cheer you on! And if you have an update for us–link up or chat with us in the comments!

How do you hold yourself accountable to reaching your diet and fitness goals each week, day, hour and minute? Yes, sometimes I have to take it one minute at a time, especially when the cravings kick in!

Are you starting to feel fly? Link up your update and let’s talk progress in the comments!

  1. It is my family, as well as how my clothes are fitting that seem to hold me accountable. And so awesome that you are down another pound. You are doing great and so proud of you!! :)

I am part of a great group of 3 of us that have posted our workouts to each other on Facebook for almost 2 years! We have had various people pop in and out during a cycle (we do it in 30 day cycles) but the 3 of us have stayed true since the beginning! It has been life changing.
